clutch for slow stuff from dead stop......power it up for anything else.

if you can learn to wheelie forever in 1st gear, you can wheelie forever in all the other ones.

These stunters that ride at sea level have a great method without the clutch. Up here in God's country where the air is too thin and you've lost 30% horse power and gained a nose bleed... we gotta dump the clutch and give her hell. But it all comes down to practice and figuring out what works for you.

Re: Do you use the clutch for wheelies?

It all depends. Obviously if Im at a dead stop Im gunna. If I want to pull up a nice smoother one while coasting then yea, I use the clutch. Most of the other times I just hit this gas a bit harder or lean back a bit, and its up, haha. Trikes rule for wheelies .

i have same fourwheeler.....you should be able to power up in any gear to balance point easy....just put one foot on the grab bar and one on the brake....just work on it your gonna put down on the grab bar alot but u will find the balance point......you shouldn't have to clutch it up except from a dead stop.....

Re: Do you use the clutch for wheelies?

On my 400ex from a dead stop i use the clutch a lil. Usualy thoe i can just second gear power them up and do what i want from there. Look cool when you power wheely then downshift and slow it down and get back into first during a wheely. But jus some clutch and a handful of throttle and you will be up fine.
