New quad opinions

Hey guys, I'm gettin a lil sikka the warrior, its a ugly turd. that can't do everything i want outta a stunt quad, N if i'm gonna start doin shows next year i need somethin pretty.

So i was out today lookin around, and narrow'd it down to 2 different ones.

the KFX 400 and the 400ex, Both 05 models.

We know a guy at the local shop so either one i get for a lil over cost. But i wanted some opinions.

I know they both have more than enough power for the stunts i'm pullin, But i also wanna know about bar tricks and ****. Cuz like the warrior, when i'm doin bar tricks it dies, I can't get it to keep runnin at 12.

SO gimme some imput, I was very close to just bringin home the KFX, but the new 400's are just vicious! So i'm strung

Re: New quad opinions

no, the 450r and the 400ex are 2 different quads.

I wouldn't get the 450r too much quad for what i wanna use it for. Like buyin a Busa for a stunt bike

Re: New quad opinions

its not a 450r poser, they are different machines, the 450r is a bigger machine, the 400ex in a great stunt machine. But i also gotta say ive done some time on a z400 same as the kfx400 and it can do wheelies in all gears factory.

Re: New quad opinions

kfx is liquid cooled, not sure if the new ex is or not. but it also has reverse which comes in handy no matter who u are. but so does the ex. i own a kfx, and can honestly say im damned happy with wht i bought. i think the kfx looks better, plus it has reservoir shocks this year and i dont think the ex does...if im wrong correct me. but me being a kfx owner...buy the kfx!

Re: New quad opinions

thats what i'm leanin toward.

Its lquid cool'd with a fan backup, so i never have to worry about over heating, It loox agressive as hell, and they have a lil better deal on the KFX.
ALso that new suspension and the TPS sensor that they just started this year shood be sweet.

the thing thats really holdin me back on the 400 is this is the 1st year of the major changes, and 1st year is always when all the buggs are worked out, At least thats the case when it comes to cars

Re: New quad opinions

i agree with alfamoney if you were to get a different quad get the 99-04 400ex dont blow it on the 05 ex. as for the z400 my friend has on and he loves it but his is an 03 but it looks like you already bough another street bike
