Re: How many of you would pirate a stunt vid?
Yes. Have some Gigabytes' worth of music actually. But i think that's not the point.
You can get some Lionel Richie or George Michael' stuff, it's like Robin Hood:
I'd always hate anybody trying to make money - and money only - from their skills,
and there's quite a lot of people wich not only made a living out of this,
but can afford just anything on earth ( houses in Santa Monica, Jaguar cars, and so on )
and there's people wich love what they do - stunting - and start publishing DVDs.. they don't want to get rich, they just hope to pay back for some fairings and some gas to get to StuntWars.
So, I don't care for George Michael bitching around on pirate music:
Hell, if you loved music that much, you'd even sing in a parking lot,
you wouldn't need billions to keep it up..
But i care for anyone trying to spread the news:
They're ACTUALLY singing - er, stunting - in parking lots,
all they want is to make something out of it,
the bare money they need to keep up with the thing they love.
No, i'd buy an original DVD. If i think it's worth it, i'll do it.

the thing about music, the world is ready for a change. many of us don't want to spend the time to go up to Best Buy, search for a CD, stand in line, drive back home, rip to MP3's, then make our own personal mixed CD's or transfer to an MP3 player.
we want the convienience of simply typing a search, and downloading them. we have that now, such as iTunes, but $1 a song is just simply too much money when it put all costs into it. if people were to actually do homework on how much it really costs to produce such songs, it's insanely low. we shouldn't be spending more than $0.15 for a song, especially if we're downloading it, because there's no overhead for cd cases, printwork, shipping, mass distribution, the labor to do it all, etc.
same with dvd's. i think it would be nice to have a site that would do the same. for instance, take X-Factor video. let them have a download site in which it would cost $10 or so, give or take, to download an entire DVD of Servin it Up or something. i would do it in a heartbeat, and costs are cut way down for Darius if he would do that. you take out the cost/time for making and packaging DVD's, or at least half anyways because you still would want to make a full packaged DVD for stores, shipping, etc. i think it's time for a change in the world of digital media, and if prices are actually fair, then people will surely comply. of course, you'll always have those few that will rip things off, just like you have those few that still go into Best Buy and walk out with 10 CDs/DVDs in their coat pockets.

Re: How many of you would pirate a stunt vid?
in todays day and age EVERYBODY is a pirate. and those who say they havent ever downloaded a song for free or a software program for free are a liar. its 2008. so why would someone pay for something that they can get for free. hmm pay $20 for a stunt dvd or somehow get it for free? which would you prefer?
