Whos from the aurora area?
Whats up, been a member of the board for a while and hopefully buying a bike within the next month, this weather is killing me. Im 20 m from yorkville and just looking to see who rides in my area.
Also where do you guys recomend buying a bike from, Pro source seems high and ive alaso talked to champion cycles in chicago and they seem pretty willing to deal, any input?

I used to work at Naperville Motosports (111th and 59) and you will get a good deal from those guys. I don't know what bike you are looking for, right now they only have suzuki as far as streetbikes. If you go in there tell your salesman that Kevin sent you, and they should take care of you. Either that or it will cost you more LOL

Naperville Motorsports or Naperville Triumph Suzuki (whatever you want to call them) seems to have the best deals on motorcycles. People get drawn in by the sales ads placed by some of the bigger dealers (Like Champion in particular). When they advertise a brand new GSX-r 600 for like $6,000 they are flat out false advertising. By the time you pay dealer prep, doc fees, and their misc. BS charges you'll be lucky if you get out of there paying under $9,000. Naperville Motorsports will give you an "out the door" price and not boooolshit you. Honestly, I'm not a huge fan of the store but as far as bikes go, they will give you a real fair deal. I've bought 2 bikes from them so far and wouldn't hesitate to buy another from them. Plus the sales staff will remember your name next time you come in ...it sounds like a small thing but to me, that type of crap goes a long way.

Alright KC50 ill def head over there and check them out. I think i actually went there once before but they were closed but if you guys say they got fair pricing ill def make another trip. Suzuki was my top choice anyways so that works out perfect too. If i cant find a 03 gsxr 1000 that someone got scared of and wants to sell i might end up trying to buy a leftover new one from a dealer. as far as champion goes i called them and got a few quotes on OTD prices and they didnt seem too bad.

One thing, be careful when quoted OTD over the phone. If it sounds even a little to good to be true, it probably is. Its common for some dealers to quote low over the phone to get you in the door, and then the price goes up when you sit down with a salesman. Just a little buyer-beware type bool ****, have fun and good luck
