hey im kinda new to the site and my friends and i are looking to ride and stunt with some cool cats. im in the chicago area, where's the hot spots?

There are a couple by Rte 53 and I-55. But I see in you profile you like 100mph wheelies. There really is no room for those at the spot, it's big but not big enough. The last spot kinda got burned up from the several accidents last year. There were quite a few totalled bikes out there last year. Oh and no burnouts either, the black marks **** off the business owners. Usually if you get close to the spot you can meet up with some people that will take you there though. I honestly don't know the names of any of the streets so I'm no help. Not only that but if I did, I still couldn't tell you because the po-po has been following this crew around for years on different message boards lol <~~Seriously! Like 3 years ago the po-po always seemed to be a step ahead of us untill one particularly cool one told us to quit posting our locations on the message boards.

It's all about letting the people out there actually doing the stuntin' telling other where the spot is actually at.

I don't know if anyone remembers this but on the old old old L/C message board, I'm the one the coined the term "The Spot" for the same reason we use the term today. We used to call the spots by their street names or park names like "Meridian" and "Shore" etc. which wasn't to hard for people (and cops) to figure out. Now it's a nationwide term.

The Spot - noun - Term used to describe a safe place to practice stunting at. Term originated in the midwest (by Shaggy) to throw off police activity due to the police surfing the message boards and to keep riders inexperianced to the stunt ettiquette from going there unsupervised and burning up the locations.

Yeah, yeah, I'm a pimp. Now if the term "Rollers" would catch on for rolling burnouts I'll be a Mega Pimp

Has anyone ever seen that guy before or is this the first? do you really think it's burnt out or maybe just cool off and it would be all good?

Eh - Every year it's the same thing. It's pretty much burnt. What generally happens is either we continue to go back or people that don't know it's burnt yet will keep going back until the owner files a complaint with the police. Then the police start coming back there and tell us to leave and not come back. Then eventually we get sick of being chased out by the police so we just stop going. These past couple spots were good because they lasted quite a while and they were close to 55 which made it nice for people coming in on the x-way. Another one will be found within the next couple weeks - don't sweat it.
