I'm trying to get a group together to go to Cascade (Portage, WI) any day this weekend is good for me. A couple people are wanting to go sunday. There's a post on it in the Get Together's forum on Chicagoriders

damn..i wanna go...how far is cascade from here?...but i dont have a board, and i tried it once in the rockies..bout killed myself...might have to stay with 2 sticks instead

sweet, it's about a 3 hour drive from chicago, Straight up I-90. I think it's something like 15 miles south of the dells.

i was just looking at the web site for the mountain. it doesnt look like there is to much snow up there, and plus less then half the runs are open too. so i'm gonna have to bail on this weekend...if i'm going to spend money like that i would like to get a full days worth....i'll be game for sure when the white stuff hits the ground.

cool, all I'm really worried about is that the border parks are open, I figure by this weekend they should have a few more runs open also that place is making snow 24/7
