Lake Cycle Ride, OCT. 5th
Anyone interested in going on the Lake Cycle ride again this year? We've done it the past few years, and it's always a good time. Lake Cycle is in Merillville IN, check in time is between 10-11 and I believe the ride starts at noon. It ends at there local fairgrounds, where in the past they've served a barbecue style lunch for free.
Anyway, it's a fun end to the season....let me know who wants to go!!

Doesn't cost a thing. Let's plan on meeting locally around 9:00 am, and rolling by 9:45. We'll need to take 88, so let's meet at the mobil at 59 & diehl. Get as many people as possibe... this is a historic ride! Footage from this ride 3 years ago can be found in the LC video....

I think it's about a 100 mile trip that ya take from Merillville to the fair grounds. I did it 2 years ago, but never finished it out. Tank slapper gone bad through a telephone pole, hence my screen name.

Between the ride out there, and the ride itself....we'll probably do 150-200 miles. Usually home around 6 or so. Lots of miles, everyone will be sore as hell the next day, but it's fun!!

Yeah, I got some guys from downtown going. What are you taking 88 to? 294 or 94, cause we'd like to meet up with ya out this way.
Also, where is the start of the ride in Indiana? I remember 2 years ago it was at some bike shop out there.

How about Hinsdale Oasis at 10:00-10:30?
That is on 294.....
I hope we can figure this out soon. We have quite a few riders who want to go. I know T-pole knows where the Oasis is at along with a bunch of others.

Hinsdale Oasis is CLOSED for repairs, so thats out.

OK, I'm a retard. If I would have read your post Erik, I would have known it was at Lake Cycle, right. So anyways, like he said, check in is from 10 - 11. They say to call and RSVP them???? Oh well, they're closed now.
