Riding Brotha Down...
Just incase some of you dont know...
I just heard from DoubleRJef
Brian Enfer's brother had a truck pull out infront of him by RibFest in Naperville last night while riding his gixxer. He t-bones the truck and wasnt wearing his gear. Funny cause he lives about 2 miles away, naperville is safe and with ribfest traffic barely moves... So **** can happen at the oddest and most unlikely times..
It happened at Aurora Ave and West Street
Hes still in hosptal... Lets all hope he pulls through with a 110% recovery (the extra 10% being that he starts to wear his damn gear!)
fractured skull... internal bleeding... neurosurgeon operated last night to relieve pressure... next 24 hours are critial.....
Anyway... injuries sound like DoubleRJreffs from a couple years back... so he should pull thorugh just fine... Jeffey did... cept hes still a sally
On a more serious not...Everyone please keep him in mind this 4th weekend... lata

PS Brian rode a yellow Triumph TT600 3-4 years ago, a 00 and 01 750 2 years ago had a 98 RR last year... Good friends with Erik and Brian used to ride with Loose Cannons and OLX.

UPDATE (just talked to Brian)
Hes doing really well according to the doctors. they are gonna try and wake him up and take him off life support in the next hour or so...
He was D.O.A. but the rececatated him...70% of DOA people dont make it. So far hes beating the odds... Lets hope and pray he continues to do so

Story
He was going north on West Ave... turned left on Aurora (west) and an S10 pulled out infront of him by the nursing home. He was about 40-50mph when inpact occured. His wife was 3 cars behind him. She didnt see it but came up on the accident after the impact.

Sorry I hope he pulls through and comes out ok. It is just amazing that he can come back after being DOA, it's great that things are turning in his favor.
I hope his wife is alright also since you said she came up to the accident, that could leave her emotionally scarred, but I hope she is ok too.
We're praying for you Brian's brother!

Hes awake... not talking yet but answering questions by nodding!
Still 1/2 awake, very confused... No idea why he is there... But thats all expected. Hes still on a respiator... but hes improving ALOT!

That's exactly why my bike is staying parked in the garage this weekend. It's a bad weekend to ride. Alot of drunks and alot of people on the rode in their cages.

My prayers are with his family. and to those riding the 4th of July weekend be VERY CAREFUL because people dont look for bikes and drunk people dont look for ANYTHING. Be safe

I know Dave, and the Engfers personally. They've had a lot of scares in the past few years involving motorcycles, but nothing this serious. I wish Dave the best of luck, and we're all thinking about ya!!!
