Re: white **** on the ground
Rest assured though, if I lived in Arizona, come summer time I would bitch non-stop about the weather out there.
Illinois Winter:
Wanna Ride
--Hell No! It's too cold - there is even snow on the ground!!!
Arizona Summer:
Wanna Ride?
--Hell no! It's too F$&%ing hot!!!!! Awe man! My tires are melted!!!!

Re: white **** on the ground
Come on dude! Arizona is considered to be one of the hottest states in the entire U.S.
In comparision, Illinois is NOT the coldest.
Average High Temperatures in Pheonix: http://phoenix.about.com/od/weather/a/averagetemps.htm
Jan: 66 = little chilly, but rideable
Feb: 70 = decent riding
Mar: 75 = GREAT riding
Apr: 84 = getting hot, but rideable
May : 93 = makes riding uncomfortable
June : 103 = forget it
July : 105 = R U Nutz!?
Aug : 103 = Uh uh - no way
Sep : 99 = No riding here
Oct: 88 = A little warm, but rideable
Nov: 75 = FINALLY, riding season begins
Dec: 66 = litte chilly, but decent
Don't feed me any B.S. about it being a "dry heat". I've been to Arizona and it's freaking hot!!! You said yourself that just riding the 2 blocks to school your back would be SOAKED from wearing a backpack.
So no, No you di-int

Re: white **** on the ground
Yes riding with my backpack made it hot, with two shirts on. I said it many times that just riding was good. I also said you adapt to the climate. I rode EVERYDAY!!!!!! EVERYDAY!!!! In case I didnt mention it,....EVERYDAY!!

Re: white **** on the ground
Because you didn't have a car, HAVE A CAR, HAVE A CAR.
Whatever Jeff, you know damn good and well that there were plenty of days that you would not have rather had a car.
If it will put an end to all of it - fine, Arizona is the bestest state in the U.S.
Honda rules, Suzuki sucks, Arizona is great and the state I was born and raised in is just plain hell.
I get it.
