today was ****in siiick, i was in scituate putting up a monopole which is just a just a tower that is one big METAL pole basically. we throw the fouth and final piece on then we put the platform on and you can see a good 20 miles away from the top, you can see the lightning to the left and to the right with sunny skies in the middle. the crane operator wont shut the hell up about "STORM WARNINGS" and **** so we keep working till i hear what sounds like a freshly poured bowl of rice krispies behind me, i look at the guy next to me and his hair is standing straaaaight up. all the static electricity above us was so strong all of hair was on end, time to head down!!! the tower just went up so it wasnt grounded yet and was pretty much a 180 foot lightning rod

thats funny my boss was on 138 and 123 in easton and i was getting on 106 from 138, he said it was down pouring and hail. i didnt see nothing where i was but blue sky on the right and black on the left. and he was going to another job in brockton
