The wedding I am standing up in this weekend has screwed me over in so many ways. I really don't talk to the guy that much anymore, I mean it took him 2-3 months to get a hold of me to ask if I would stand up in the wedding. I went to school with him and we used to lift at the gym together, but never really hung out other than that.

An entire Saturday for the bachelor party with no **** or *****. The best man kept saying how drunk he was going to get the groom, but when we got to the bar no one wanted to buy him more than a drink or two.
$125
I also had to buy a pair of shitty quality kaki's with pleats for $50 and an ugly *** orange/red/brick shirt as well as brown shoes.(I never wear brown shoes or belts)
$150
Now this entire weekend is shot from when I leave work on Friday until Late Saturday night. I am missing the bachelor party for one of my friends I actually hung out with and went to the bar with regularly.
Add to that a card and some cash.
$125-$150
I didn't even book a room at the hotel because I know all the bridesmaids are going to be yettis and when I asked if there would be drinking at the wedding my friend said "maybe after some of the older folks leave".

my little cousin and his gf are getting married this fall. His Gf asked Becky to stand with her, previous to them ever meeting, and only spoke on the phone a few times. Ive only met the girl once.

I think a girl has the right to choose one guy to stand up if she has a brother. If it isn't her brother, **** off, and if she has more than one brother she gets to pick one.
