Ended up buying the blue hull. The search for an engine begins. Hopefully I can find a nice dual carb 650.

I wouldn't get hung up on the dual carb. The best setup is a single 44mm Mikuni.

if the intake ports are relatively close together id rather run one bigger carb than 2 smaller ones much easier to tune right, no syncing issues or any of that bs.

What is the best way to get oil and water out of a hull? Plastic cup them rags when you get most of it out? Then laquer thinner to get the residue off?

The bumpers are plastic. Yes, you take that off to do the turf. It is held on by bolts. You take the acorn nuts off under the bond line. There should be 4 pieces, front, back, and each side.
