Re: Semi work safe

Use a screwdriver and pry them off. You have to work them out a little bit at a time. Pry all the way around evenly like you were torquing rims. You don't have to be gentle because if you **** up the metal part of the seal it doesn't matter.

Yup. I remember after I took that piece off I was surprised how rusty and rough the axle was and how quickly it turned to a nice machined surface under that piece of the seal.

on my jeep you have to take off the air intake, the injectors, and 3 coil packs to get to the spark plugs. Everything is on the left side of teh motor, teh right side of the engine bay has enough room to smuggle a family of mexicans through texas. Only thing on the right side is the oil filter. Last time i changed the plugs on it, it took me an entire day. They need changing right now but that wont be happening.

Got to test out the rain gear this morning. You end up looking like a drowned rat, but you stay dry and comfortable. Good **** for $53.

That's the slow but cheap way. If you have all weekend that is the way to go, but if you want to take a 4 hour road trip in 2 days you pay to have someone do it.

i have an impact gun so it takes me about 20 seconds per stud, and 18 of those seconds are spent setting it up. i think with a big ratchet, it would take about 1:30 per stud.

That's after you spend 30 minutes to go to the store and buy washers.
