Semi work safe

Re: Semi work safe
I couldn't find a place to rent one. Do you really think I would pay $68 for a tool that I could have rented? You can borrow mine, but I need it back eventually so I can do the axle seal on the passenger side.

Re: Semi work safe
Yup.
It confused me for a couple of seconds.
If you want to roll by my place I can give you the garage door code. Only if You or Lacey are picking it up on your own though. Not really comfortable with people I don't know checking out my garage.
Only if you are replacing the pinion bearing. I think everything else is the same. You should be able to figure it out because the older trucks had one style and the newer trucks have the other. I forget which has what though.

Re: Semi work safe
75W140 synthetic only. It's $70 in fluid. I got the same bolts a little bit longer. They had to order the washers, but had the bolts in stock. I used the bolts then took the bolts off one at a time, put the washers on, and replaced the bolts. You need "the right stuff" gasket maker as well.

Re: Semi work safe
Good luck, those were the worst part of the job. ******* springs. I swear you need 3 or 4 hands to get them back on. Don't even ask me how I got them back on when you get to that point. I have no clue how I ******* did it.
The bolts from fastenal are just hex head bolts. They needed washers in my opinion. Or you can buy the stock 2008 bolts from the dealer. I think it is $230 for the set of 12.
