Re: Semi work safe
if i recall he was getting 1800 for a pair of 2.5 ton axles. i dont know if they NEED a rebuild, but everyone on there does it anyway while they change to 6.xx gears.
For comparison, a ford D60 front (which is the most desired front) is worth a thousand bucks in the worst condition it could possibly be in, and then will need another 500 in upgrades to handle big tires.

I think he is joking, but you never know with Mike. Maybe he thinks that super hot chicks drive around in g-strings, bra's, and fishnet tops all the time and someone just hapened to snap a pic of her getting out of her car. Hot chicks also drive custome tuner cars in this world as well.

i wasnt even talking about a locker.. The outer axle shafts arent up to par, most people upgrade the knuckles too on the fords, add high steer arms, bullet proof diff cover.. thats all i can think of off the top of my head. rockwells dont need any of that stuff.

Looks like I wil be getting an oven tomorrow. Just have to double check that 18x24x24 is a standard oven size and I am not screwing myself by buying an oven that is 8" shorter than a normal one that I could buy for $20 more.

Re: Semi work safe
High steer isn't upgrading the axle in my book, it's updating the steering system. The outers and hubs are part of the axle in my book. I assume they upgrade the knuckles to add the highsteer, or is there a deficency in the Ford setup for hard off road abuse.
