Lakeland is not long enough to have a coaster event. It is an 1/8 mile dragstrip so total it is around 1/4 mile. There are already a handful of people doing coasters that distance or close to it. Only way you could do it is with a limited approach.
If all possible I would like to see sickest new trick on the list of event. It is something the riders and spectators will like.

Hey todd, Will there be a place to ride 50's. I remember going to Xfest (over 10 hour drive) and they told us to keep it on two wheeles when riding them. So I brought that dam thing over 700 miles for nothing.

Better event, spectators will like it a lot more than more slow "sick tricks".
Sickest trick is always the same thing, a bunch of **** that you have already seen, one MAYBE two new/exciting things to watch. Maybe it would be a good event for a side thing for a few people to do that ACTUALLY HAVE SOMETHING NEW AND SICK (like aaron at nsra reverse elevator, that was the only new/sick thing i saw) to show us, but not for everyone to go out there and do the same trick we've seen them do a 1000 times.

There is plenty on room, Lakeland's total distance is about 1500 feet. Give us a 400 foot run in, and that leaves 1100 feet to coast, and from that short of a run, it is unlikely that anyone will go the whole distance, plus the action (or at least the top competitors) will be going directly past the fans during their runs.
Better event, spectators will like it a lot more than more slow "sick tricks".

sickest trick is always a problem because it is a judging thing and you always will have someone feeling ripped off. Great spectator event though.
coaster is cool cause its a numbers thing and you cant argue with numbers... the only problem i see is there are many people doing some loooooong distances and what happens if you have 2 or more peeps clearing out the entire track... even with a 400 ft start (I know there are a couple out there that can do it).

ALSO, a "showdown" between two riders is what we WANT for the crowd, it gives them suspense and then they can pick sides and cheer for a certain rider, it GETS THEM INVOLVED!!! A tie in coaster and a coast off is EXACTLY what this sport needs!!!
