ok lets see ... they are strict . mirror is needed i grab a bicycle mirror from wall mart every year . make sure your lights are on during the day ( been pulled over / written for that ) and use the hand signals . not sure how there gonna be with plates this year since i heard they passed a new law , but mine is right under my tail light and ive never had a problem

Yeah, seems like they aren't making these for safety. It sounds like they are discriminating and looking for a way to make revenue.

yes and definetly

and you dont need turn signals here, but they will still hassle you about them because most of the cops dont even know the bike laws right

Re: daytona bike week florida laws?

Spring break in panama city we have a blast there and lots of stunt spots thats my home town and as far as dumb *** laws they are busting our asses with it lots of people took it to the track and got off the streets because of it if your tag isnt horizontal with the riding surface so many inches high illuminated with a white light can be seen from 50ft and some other garbage its a 1000 ticket as well and the fine gets worse so if one writes you on monday for it on tues if another gets you its a 2400 ticket and the 3rd they is 3g+ the suspend your license for so many years and on the wheelie thing or speeds any thing 50 over the limit they TAKE your bike no gettin it back i bounced on them and i have 1300 in fines and the have my 2003 R1 i can never get back it will be sold at an auction

Re: daytona bike week florida laws?

They have been getting more strict, but I still love it out there. There is a great event coming up in March, that I just booked. I'm staying at the Daytona Bahama House if anyone is going to be out there. I just booked it today for a great price. Check it out if you need somewhere to stay.
