Well the last time i went down (which was in '04) most people stayed at the "hooters hotel", when that filled up a lot of people stayed at La Quinta across the street form there, but i stayed next door at the Comfort Inn.
From what i hear the hooters hotel has been torn down... but a lot of people are still staying around that area. Here's the info. for the hotel i'm staying at:

no, I'll call in as a travel agent to get a group rate for my clients. There's no need to mention that were a bunch of crazy ***, tattooed, stunt junkies that will party all night and break **** all day!

OK, I checked today, there's a half dozen or so motels within 10 miles of the USA Speedway with prices between $59 - $89.

I haven't been able to get a confirmation about group pricing, but these are cheaper motels like Comfort Inn, Days Inn, Howard Johnson, Super 8, etc. which means that there probably isn't going to be any great group rates. But if you guys can spread the word, ask your friends and I can find out how many rooms we'll need, I can see if any of these places will make me a deal.

So, if you're sure you need a room, or know a friend who will need a room, post it up, I'll keep track, and do what I do best.

yeah after the ruckus we caused in lakeland over the past years the cops there are not ******* around. i for one will not be anywhere near lakeland if i make it down.

basically you dicks roll into town and flip it upside ****** down and the cops get all pissy. i gotta deal with it the rest of the yr. good thing i keep good sticky tires on my stunt bike and i'm not geared up too bad cause these ******* are gettin crafty. **** da police.

I think I might spend some time traveling up there, before Stuntwars, to get a better feel for the streets in case I need to haul ***. What areas should I watch out for, and where do you usually ride?

 

it's hard out here for a pimp. the asphault and the po po tryin to keep a stunna down.

 

i wouldn't **** around too much unless u with a few others. this place is crawling with TOO many cops. it's rediculas. and they hate motorcycles with a vengance.

 

I don't really mess around on the streets, I'm still learnin wheelies. But I do speed, and can't afford these ticket prices anymore. I'd just like to know the area in which I'll be for stuntwars. That way, if **** gets hairy, I can haul *** out of there knowin where the eff I'm goin.

I've got the next few days off, and since I only live 40 minutes from Lakeland, I'll probably be up there. I need a change of scenery anyways.
