Re: European Champs 2007 !! Allready two americans coming over :YEAH
would love to be there man, but the BMW's weren't ready yet and I couldn't get the honda's over there.
not to get off topic, because i do want to come and represent, but any contest outside of America needs to step up. everytime myself or another american rider go overseas, it is a JOKE. bikes are ****, treatment is usually **** (except by the riders themselves), judging is a joke and generally we spend time and money to just go and hang out. there is no fair shot, no equal treatment.
on the other side of the pond (US), we have provided bikes with no limitations as to how you can ride them, set them up, swapped motors, and generally gone out of our way to make the foreign riders feel comfortable and at home. i would even go so far as to say that we FAVOR euro riders bc we enjoy them and what they have done for the sport.
in the end i feel like going overseas is a lost cause because no one is ever given a fair shake, whereas coming from europe to the US is the exact opposite.
not to blast this thread, just some thoughts.
hope to be there next year battling CP on the same bike!

Re: European Champs 2007 !! Allready two americans coming over :YEAH
Ok, the event was a blast! I had so much fun with everyone... I was there from thursday untill sunday afternoon. I rode alot, and eventually finished 16th :YEAH
I met alot of cool people who are also on this forum... No americans were there But maybe it was better that way, cause the event itselve was a bit disappointing. Little amount of people, not really good weather (allthough most of the times it was dry) and the organisation wasn't so good either.
But still I had a blast. Met the 444-riders, and we had a couple of cool street sessions, even on the highway (which is special here in Holland ) I met alot of french riders like Tigroo and Razarback
Was just a great experiance!
I want to thank everyone who helped with organizing, judging, flagging, counting, and so on... You know who you are
Hope to see alot of the riders again soon :YEAH

Yea man that was a cool week end, next i'll be there more in the stuntpart but this week end was "amsterdam local pleasures discovering"
show was good, many good riders, i did expect a bit more "rage" from everyone but the crowd there was not that furious too!
real to meet u Insane, same for Liks, pfeiffer, narcis, klaas (heal up fast man) and everyone i coud forget, glad to see everyone i knew again, few french guyz i didn't know yet, props to all them riders for doing the thing!
PS teach, just can approve only 100% what u mean, this always disappointed me it's goin one only way, might be harder to get a bike there but everything around shoud be perfect!
hope to do it on the bike next year
PS: insane what are the final results?
and we missed our plane on yesterday night, had to sleep on the gorund in the airport

What are these results ???
It's incredible...
yesterday I left the event with different results, and they asked us to let the third place to narcis (than Seb5 ) because of errors in the results !
We were leaving the event with the price in hand !
look !
Are these results ok ? and definitive ?

Uhm sort of, they are final untill the 12th place... place 14 and 16 aren't right... Razerback told me, i'm not 16th, I became 17th... and Racemaniac wasn't 14th but 15th...
Julien Razerback was 16th...
But I heard Narcis roca should be 3rd indeed...

Re: European Champs 2007 !! Allready two americans coming over :YEAH
This is all weird...
Narcis told the men that his results of the previous round were bad repeated on the final results, and asked to have the third place.
No problem with that, but they didn't want to see all the results for all the riders !
Therefore I hope this is the last results. I've got all the sheets with the 3 results with me, Maybe I'll try to make the real results by myselves...
And thank you Insane for all the "streetmonsters" stickers you helped me to put everywhere
My chief editor thanks you too.
I believe you'll see these stickers for a longtime in Amsterdam !

not to get off topic, because i do want to come and represent, but any contest outside of America needs to step up. everytime myself or another american rider go overseas, it is a JOKE. bikes are ****, treatment is usually **** (except by the riders themselves), judging is a joke and generally we spend time and money to just go and hang out. there is no fair shot, no equal treatment.
on the other side of the pond (US), we have provided bikes with no limitations as to how you can ride them, set them up, swapped motors, and generally gone out of our way to make the foreign riders feel comfortable and at home. i would even go so far as to say that we FAVOR euro riders bc we enjoy them and what they have done for the sport.
in the end i feel like going overseas is a lost cause because no one is ever given a fair shake, whereas coming from europe to the US is the exact opposite.
not to blast this thread, just some thoughts.
hope to be there next year battling CP on the same bike!
