Hi - Stuntwars is almost here :YEAH & since a lot of you are coming from out of state I wasn't sure if anyone had listed the other hotels off of N 98 (Hooters exit - lakeland) Since I'm over that way at least 2 or 3 times a week - I wrote down the names of the hotels right by I-4.... I called on a few of them - thought it might help you guys in the process of you finding a room !!! When I called I made sure I mentioned the dates - just to make sure I got the right rates.... It looks like the Suburban Lodge would be the best bet - especially for any teams who would be staying longer than the 3 days... SUBURBAN LODGE - 863-816-1700 - Since you can rent by the week each room has the little kitchen area - fridge - stove - microwave - stuff to cook w/ (pots & forks - im guessing - heh heh) PER NIGHT - $64.99 - PER WEEK $289.99 (which breaks down to 41.43 a night) CALL SOON THEY'RE BOOKING FAST - they're only like 3 red lights down from I-4 & the other hotels.

MOTEL 6 - 863-682-0643 - SUN - THURS $53.99 - FRI & SAT 59.99 - the chic couldnt give me the "per week" rate - she said she'd have to check or whatever.

CROSSROADS MOTORLODGE - 863-688-6031 - $44.95-49.95 ~ I CAN'T LIE TO YA - I WOULDN'T SLEEP HERE - NOT WITHOUT A CAN OF MASE & A 9 - it doesnt look so clean or so nice driving by - and when i called the lady i talked to was a for real crackhead !!!! but anyways on to the next number....

Sorry thats like the one number i forgot to post - wrote it down & forgot - hah - La Quinta's nice - It's across the street (98 N) from hooters - ummmm I think there's a steak & shake beside it - and an Ihop right there too.... I dont know how they are now - but if you're wanting to know if they're gonna be dicks if ppl get too loud or too drunk or whatever - I know they used to not care at all.... no one ever complained - Like 4 years ago when i was in high school - people would always have huge parties there - b/c the la quinta was the one hotel that was always super cool about it - they never called the cops or any b/s.... - Just wondering how long are you guys staying for ?????

 

Last year we left Maryland after work on Wednesday and got there about 11 am thursday. We have 2 more bikes to bring this year so we'll see how much longer it takes to load them but we should be ther by thursday afternoon at the latest. can't wait to see everyone!!

 

Nice - should be fun Since I only live like 10 min from the track - i'm gonna stay at the house.... but it looks like alot of ppl will be at the la quinta..... :YEAH
