Re: tips on wheelies

You must start doing a sit-down wheelies because they're easier
You must use the rear brake to control the balance on rear wheel
and... practice, practice and practice
Good luck!

hey first of, the song you have playing.. what was it?

ok as for wheelies ya. you will progress heaps wuicker if you sit down first.
id say go about fast walking pace and then try to wheelie, ya learn to feather the back break as well,
another quick tip: deliberately flip the wheelies sitting down so you know were and when you are going to flip. now try wheeling with a lil bit of the break applied, untill you can use the brakee to stop you from flipping,. after id say 2 weeks or so you should be able to go at least 20 meters

the first song was bawitdaba by kid rock and the second song was from mission impossible 3....i understand sittin down is easier and it can go longer but i have gotten used to standin up and i can land on my feet when ever i fall off.....and i havent used the rear brake so im gonna start tryin that.....i have been practicin since i uploaded this video and i can do slow wheelies very long....its alll in the foot pedaling and balance....i dont worry about fallin down because i can land on my feet...but when i tried doing a sit down i did it long and with no pedaling but it feels like im gonna fall off and land on my ***........im goin to make a video of how i am doin now ill put up sitdowns and standups and u tell me if i got better.....thanx

Re: tips on wheelies

sitdowns all the way, use your rear brake.

i learned by pedaling the bike up as high as i could from a dead stop, and using the brake to SLAM it back down down, then practiced getting higher and higher till i got used to using it.

i live near detroit......so to do a sitdown i should just lean back and pedal as hard as possible and keep my arms straight and ill be ok right.....i dont care about fallin down its just easier for me to get the bike on one wheel when im standin up but its really hard to get balanced when im standin up so yeah im goin to do sitdowns

i learned stand ups just beacuse i think they are easier since u barely use ur rear breake, just lean foreward and ill bring u down but sitdowns u have to use ur breake alot more so i dunno everyone learns differently its all up to u ....... ull get it just keep on it
