Some Questions

Hey everyone Im new here. I just have a few questions for you all. Since I am new to stunting I was just wanting to have a few questions. Whats the best way to get better at doing wheelies. I can get them up and ride them for 2-3 seconds usually. What gear do you wheelie in. I am usually in 1st gear. Also whats the best position of the seat (height wise) and could somebody list the pros/cons of each.

Re: Some Questions

higher seat=lower balance point.

do sitdown wheelies, use the rear brake to slow it down.

gears don't matter, use what you like.

angle your seat forward, makes everything alot easier.

Re: Some Questions

The best way to get better is to practice. Practice practice preactice, then practice more. The more you ride, the better you get, I ride about an hour a day, but sometimes up to three hours or even al day every now and then.

Re: Some Questions

Alright Ill have to try angling the seat down some. Any advice on the rear brake usage, or how to optomially set up the rear brake to control the wheelie. So far I can get do endos they're ugly but I can do them and the wheelies I can get the wheel up and have been trying to use the rear brake to bring the wheel back down to where it needs to be at the bp, but as soon as I use the brake the wheel just falls. Any suggestions. Thanks a lot for all of your help so far.

Re: Some Questions

use less brake, don't mash it. just SLIGHTLY drag it.

i like my brakes setup pretty stiff, although i have real good brake control.

Re: Some Questions

I learned to hold a wheelie just below or at the balance point before I tried learning to hold the wheel at the balance point, and use the back brake.
