Re: Cheap NICE bike
They sell that one at wallmart ?
when I went 2 or 3 years ago to montgomery cycle (local verry good bike shop) to get my son a redline bmx they had the old expert bmx mongoose. The shop owner said that mongoose sold the company name and the quality wet to ****.and they would't be selling them anymore because of that; Sure enough I see them at wallmart about a couple months later ??
This may all be BS but that's what I was told
That bike looks nice though !! :YEAH

the store owner probably quit selling them because the mongoose name went down the drain when they starting making cheap bikes for walmart.
Just like schwinn. They still make very good bikes but they make cheap stuff and sell it to walmart and the name went down the drain as well.
If GT, Diamond Back, Haro, Redline etc starting making cheap stuff with cheap parts and sold it speacilized for walmart their name would go down as well.

here's how i tell if it's a good stuntbike.
if you can lock the rear tire with one finger, great brakes.
and if you can put it in it's LOWEST gear, start froma dead stop, and just pedal HARD.
if it power wheelies, than it's prolly light enough.
also, high rise bars help for wheelies.

that is one seriously loght bike lift it with my pinky and pulls the wheel up easy peddlin, but the bars put you so far forward. I can wheelie alot better on a schwinn sidewinder I got.
