Re: battle in the south

looks like turn out as far as competitors was good, as for the crowd, thats always touch and go, you can never predict what the crowd turn out is gonna be. all the competitors had a good time and that is what counts.... you will never make everyone happy, there will always be someone thats gonna bitch.

Re: battle in the south

It doesn't matter whether there was a crowd there or not, that's where they would be so that's where you ride. People forget that it's not entirely about us, if nobody's watching it's never going to go anywhere.

As far as it only being one day, I thought that was great. You said Stunter's aren't made of money, well when your spending more nights at a place that's MORE money. Having it one day actually saved us money. The ones that put on this event did very good, and I will say that till the end. They gave us free lunch, lots of practice space to do pretty much whatever we wanted, and didn't give us any problems (even though people that didn't compete decided to show off rocking circles in the parking lot right next to everybodys stuff, yet wouldn't go out and show off on the track where they were supposed to be). Nobody is disputing that the judging was questionable, however, it was good seeing everyone and putting your skillz against everyone else.

If you didn't win, practice and make it better. I know I thought that I had a solid run, but I didn't place. So next time my tricks will be better, more amazing, more technical, and faster. (Aaron I'm after you, lol!!!!)

No hating, people that put on these comps are going out on a limb to help the sport. It's all a learning experience. Good job and we'll support you in the future even though I only have $1.74 in my account, lol.

Have fun at cycleplalooza everyone, sorry we can't make it but money and christmas coming up.

See everyone at stuntwars!!!

I know there isn't a school on judging, but maybe there should be some sort of real point system set up. When I asked the judges some questions and I got ???? as answers that made it worse. Overall points were explained as crowd cheer and how the tempo and excitement were. To me that means overall run....Diversity, execution, difficulty.
The girl that was running the thing said let me check some #'s and I will get back with you. That sure didn't happen. I know it was busy and there was more to do than worry about some guy from OHIO that nobody knew.
I am done making my point about the judging.
It is a learning experience for all

ps: The highchair was on it's way up (only pic I had of it from the comp)

IT IS NOT WORHT THE TIME TO WRITE ON HERE TO COMPLAIN. tHE PEOLPE THAT REPLY ON HERE ARE LUCKY ENOUGH TO FIND THERE KICK STAND THEN TO KNOW WHAT THERE TALKING ABOUT. sOME ONE NEED TO QUIT TALKING AND STEP UP TO THE PLATE AND START DOING THING RIGHT. SO THERE WILL BE NO MORE PROS IN THE AMUTURE CLASS. JUDGES THAT KNOW WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON . AND PEOPLE WHO KNOW HOW TO RUN A SHOW.
