Re: Bike on fire @ Seminole Powersports show

What makes a bike go up in flames like that? The plastics around the pipes melt? Fuel line melt? I've seen a few bikes do that, what gives?

rod #3 likes to blow through the front of the block @ revlimiter, im assuming oil flys out as well causing the flames

Re: Bike on fire @ Seminole Powersports show

back when i raced moto cross i had some weird **** happen to my yz125. the plug flew out and hit me in the leg,it caught a small fire but went out right away. im assuming from gas or oil spraying out the plug hole. when i took the motor apart the top of the piston was completely gone! melted or blown away. never saw this b4 or again for that matter.
