Just know that you're not really gaining anything by riding the 50. When you can afford a bigger bike, go for it. Until then, have fun rocking the 50.

 

Yup. If you want to learn to stunt a big bike, buy a big bike. The 50 is just a perpetual crutch for a lot of people.

Why do dumb women always say **** like this? When is the last time you heard some squid guy ask for some other guys to hook him up with a bike? Just because you have some **** you think you deserve that? Pathetic.

For some magical reason a lot of the women I've met that claim they want to stunt never can find the money to buy a stunt bike, which is ludicrous, as I've had many broke *** friends manage to hustle enough money to buy one. If you want one bad enough, you'll find the money, bottom line. The problem is, most women just want to fake the funk.

Just rock the 50 if that floats your boat. They are fun

 

You can learn balance point on a fiddy, but clutch control and rear braking are the most important things you need to take it to a big bike. Once you can ride a wheelie indefinetly on a fiddy, trade someone on here for an 80,100 or 150 four stroke if you are serious about this whole stuntin thing. You really need to practise though if your askin why you might need a front brake . LOL

My first thought after reading original post. I was then going to refer her back to my original post, which advised NOT to attempt stunting until all prerequisite skills were second nature.
Bottom line honey, stunting as a whole boils down to one simple thing: A demonstration of extreme control.
If you don't have that control, don't stunt. Not until you do, just as I said before. You openly acknowledged that you are unable to control your own hands on the most basic & fundamental of controls of the bike-- um yeah please go back to square one, do not pass go, do not collect $200, do not attempt to STUNT. Stunting is advanced riding; fundamental operational control is basic riding. Do not try to skip a grade. Especially the first. Worse still, is you ask if & how you can get around this basic necessity in the prerequisite skill set by just avoiding ever addressing this problem?

1- no, doing things in the proper order and not thinking you can take shortcuts without consequence is the best way to. And yes, learn from your mistakes-- here, that being an admitted chronic issue with uncoordinated input... but instead of learning from it and fixing it, you said you would rather circumvent it entirely. Understand the difference.
2- No, there is no glory in going out by way of ignorant squidliness on a toy bike.
3- Yes, it is what makes sense. Not practising until you get it right and looking for ways around it does NOT make sense. Choose your view and keep it true.

Yes, it is still ridiculous. I am far smaller than even you and a fiddy is still a cramped child's size toy, not a suitable size bike. But yes, you are right, anything bigger woud definitely be too much for you to handle, as you cannot yet even handle the fiddy with the assuredness you need.

All so very true! Where were you when I was disagreeing with the majority of SR for insisting I must master a fiddy before I should touch a big bike? I called then for so much of the same valid points you just made. I already had owned & established standard riding skills of full size bikes, so I knew the next natural step was forward onto the next skill set on the machines my existing proficiency lied in. Fiddy's would have been a step backwards in my case, not a progression. Thank you for validating my argument.
However, I do feel here in her case, she would benefit (for her own safety) by using a smaller, simplified machine like a fiddy for establishing & honing her proper throttle vs. brake manipulation before having any business attempting to ride anything streetable (for her safety and ours).

1- Then you can't afford stunting either. Simple as that. Because this is an expensive sport, and buying lots of bikes & bike parts comes with the territory. If you are not prepared for that, wait until you are.

All said & done, not trying to be a bitch, just calmly being brutally honest with you, as anything less wouldn't be doing you any favors. So I expect you not to take offense or throw any attitude my way. You ask questions like that, you get answers like this, whether you like what you hear or not. Accept experienced wisdom & advice from those patient enough to give it to you when you ask for it. So I'm just saying right now, if you can't handle honest & constructive criticism, or hell, criticism at all, you have no business being on this forum. And if you can't handle controlled brake & throttle functions on a toy bike, you have no business being in this sport.

Take it for what it is worth, I'm not saying you never will have a place here or in the hobby you aspire in, I'm just saying you got to step right or you will wreck yourself, no way around it. That goes for both situations.
