went down to chicago to ride with midwest mayhem, monkey tactics and CIX.....this was on April 5th, EXACTLY 6 months from the date of my accident.....needless to say i'm pretty happy with the progress i've made thus far!

not yet, this was my first day doing seat standers.....the next step is circles...i hope to have them within the week, problem is bailing, if i have to plant my prosthetic hard ONCE, it's back to crutches for 2 days.....that **** sucks.

holy **** ryan. im happy for you. seeing this just wants me to work even harder. I ripped of all my muscles from my pelvis in my left leg july last year. due to the crappy madical we have in sweden thay dident operate me untill februari 5 2008. after this i had to lay still for 8 weeks. right now im learning to walk again. i cant sit because thay have reateched the muskles on my sitbone. it so much worse then i thougt, not having any muscles left in my body makes everything even worse.

I cant even imagine how hard you have been working just to sit on a bike, or learn to walk. Iverytime it hurts im going to thingk of you

good luck. post up more pictures. It gives a lot of us power to continue

sorry to hear about your medical situation! i know what it's like to have to learn to walk again....i still can't run/jog.....it's funny that you mentioned sitting on the bike.....it wasn't until a month ago that i could actually bend my left knee far enough to put my prosthetic on the peg......when my femur came out of my leg it ripped muscle and created lots of scar tissue.....physical theropy pays off though, i've been treating it as a job....never missed a session yet, and many hours of sitting on an exercise bike in my basement, each rotation of the pedals pushes your knee to bend more and more....keep lowering the seat to increase range of motion. i recomend doing the same, it really paid off.

Nice man!!!! You're definitely coming along.. Definitely motivation for anyone. Cool to see you took something that normally would just destroy someone mentally but you stayed positive through the whole thing and that didn't stop you from doing what you love.. BTW love the shirts bro..
