Greatest Picture Of All Time!

Re: Greatest Picture Of All Time!
the chrome coloured slider part of the bottom of the fork actually screws into the very bottom where the caliper bolts to. and on the inside there is a small #3 alan head set screw you must make sure is tight. whenever changing your fork seals I always remove the chrome slider portion of the fork clean it properly and use good locktite and make sure it is tightened and that the set screw is as well. I have had mine come lose before on my old 03. Racetech actually told me there have had several racers come in with the same problem. I know the forks on the 07 are completely different and I hope they fixed that problem

Ok There Is A Set Screw On The Inside Of The Fork ,on The Bottom Part That Your Axle Goes Through
Take Off Your Wheel And Put The Axle Back In
Loosen The Set Screw And Thread The Fork Tube[the Chrome Part]back Into The Bottom Of The Fork[the Powder Coated Colored Part]
If Your Forks Are Already Leaking There It May Be Too Late For Just Tightening
This Is Only An 03 04 Problem 05 06 636 Forks Are Made By The Same Company That Make Honda Forks So They Do Not Have This Problem I Am Told

Re: Greatest Picture Of All Time!
camera women that is, anyways tis was ridiculous, when we looked at the bike after the break, IMO, was because of over tightening the fork tube. it looks like the allen bolts were under so much stress that they eventually gave out.
be careful though. the sign is forks leaking form the bttom of the leg. if your forks are doing this get tht **** checked. this wreck was bad.
props to jeremiah for walking it off until we noticed his collar bone. was 2 inches to high on one side.
