lol......yeah, but them uppers, heaglights, and fairing stays are kinda pricey!!!

Eventually I may do that tho, makes the "street" bike look more "street".

If I feel I've ever gotten good enough I have a carbon fiber upper for the 600RR too, but already wrecked it a time or two .

Re: New setup, another bike!

did I mention the "custom" liscense plate brackets!!!!! LoL

Great for when you're rockin highways and you don't wanna bend your plate when it hits the tire from setting down endoes on the e-way!

lemme see if I can find a pic I took of the DB bars sitting on top the clip-ons that show they are the same width........flipped, swapped, spun clip-ons are DB bars without risers......still cheating if you ask me!

I may go back to DB bars on the 954 though if I don't like long endoes with clip-ons. Only time will tell.

Re: New setup, another bike!

when I hold them to each other they are the EXCAT width, and since the clipons are swapped they have the same upward angle to them.......only difference is the DB bars have a rise to them and risers, otherwise same thing!

I got new subframes and plastics for both bikes to pretty em both up over the winter. Both should look good with new paint for the new season next year. And new cages will be in the works before too long......Race Rail type cage for the 954 and maybe an S.I. cage and bar for the 600RR. Still no uppers yet, but maybe eventually. They'll look good tho.

just sitting there they seem fine. I've been riding the 954 that way for a bit rolling endoes and on the street and its been good except I think the frame sits higher or the 1000RR forks are alot shorter than the 954 forks because I can't seem to put the clipons on top very easy without bottoming the cage out. I'm gonna measure and compare them tomorrow and since the 600RR seems to sit so tall with the 954 front end I may swap the front ends if theres a sizeable difference, either that or put the clipons below the triple on the 954.

I'm used to DB bars and the regular downward anlge of normal clip-ons feel uncomfortable to me, so the swapped set-up feels better, but I'm gonna have to play with angling them back until it "feels right". as of now they are straight acrossed. 5mm allen wrench and 2 second and I can move em as much as I need with the woodcraft clip-ons, which is kinda sweet! If I like the clip-ons for endoes on the 954 I'll get a woodcraft set for it too.

I look around for anything thats around and when I find somin I like or think would be good for my bikes I decide if its worth it.

My Woodcraft rearsets on the 954 are actually 600RR rearsets, checked once someone was selling em, already had my vortex rearsets, vortex rearsets fit on 954 so I went ahead and bought the woodcraft set for cheap, only thing I had to do was used the stock 954 shifter and make my own shift linkage.

$400 rearsets for bout $130 shipped, 10 minutes worth of work....was worth it to me.

Right now I would like to find a front mount damper that would work for 929 or 954 triples......got both and been thinking bout running 2 dampers on the 954 to help keep the front end stable for long endoes, since I had to lower it for the clip-ons to be on top of the triple the front end seems a lil more unstable than before!

Lemme know any suspension goodies you might have, spare 929/954 top triples, or anything else you might wanna get rid of.
