its actually not as bad as it looks.......I had -2/+13 on there and LOVED the gearing, but my hands were going numb....Andy from Controlled Insanity explained its because the smaller sprocket on the front causes more vibration because of the tighter turn the chain make.......so I figured out the gearing ratio and got close to that and tried to go with the opposite effect on the front to smoothen it out the most I could thats why it +1 up front now, and the +27 on the back evens it out to where the gearing is where I liked it. 68 tooth rear would have been exactly even with my previous gearing, and 70 was the closest to that.

here's how the math worked out:

56t divided by 14t = 4.0 ratio
68t divided by 17t = 4.0 ratio
70t divided by 17t = 4.1 ratio

I've been riding the 600RR on the interstates here at 70 or so without a problem. but it does look insane(or mildly retarded) on the bike

the overall height of the bars are the only part I didn't like that much, its the width that really makes it cheating! sooooo much more control with the added width. My clip-ons are bout 32" or so wide......my db were 32" too!

I don't need alot of things, aftermarket rearsets, front race takeoffs, built forks, such a damb good looking face .....but I love how having all this stuff makes me feel on the inside!

nah.....i like how they feel and if you note the left clip-on, on the 600RR, I can fit my headlight switch now! If it only worked that would be sweet!

bwahahaha......your hating is all I know......"DB bars are gay, flat bars are gay, cages are gay, STL pegs are gay, sex with women is gay, having a trailer is gay, having a Hyperpro on both bikes is gay,..........everythings always been GAY" lol

Nah I swapped cause I couldn't find a low enough set of DB bars that I liked, then greg let me tinker with his bike with Vortexes and it felt like what I wanted, so I went with it.........I guess if Greg changed cause of your hating, then I changed from liking his set-up.....down the line you might be about 20-60% correct

NO!!!! It was a soy bean feild! Do you not see the john deere planter behind the bikes? What do you expect me to pull it with?

Most of that came from taking them off the trailer in the rain, then it didn't help that once it hit 40 and the snow and ice melt I took them one at a time out the the land behind my house to "play" (lots of burnouts, no lost rubber......but one pissed off father after seeing the lack of grass in large and small cirles and lines behind his house! )

If I was MY kid.......I woulda given myself up for adoption by now! You can only bail your kid outta jail, talk to the cops about them and have your shyt torn up so many times!

maybe it was hap who said that

as much street as you ride, you better leave the "objection your honor" to your lawyer when you're in for the 8,482 C&I's they're gonna throw at you one of these days!!!!!

yeah.....hour long drive trailering home def. sux! especially when the bikes are clean and I have to pull the trailer the last 1/2 mile on gravel.........yes, GRAVEL.......I live on a farm on a gravel road, which means I park my bikes outside unlocked whenever I want......no need for a garage or alarm out here, we shoot first, then ask questions, then if in doubt we bury the evidence

I can be borderline nerd with the math stuff.
Yet I still don't know how to figure the estimated top speed with gearing changes.

its the acid!

nah I got an extra peg on the left on both bikes. Not everybody's thing, but works well for me. I can still use the stock pegs for whoolies, but the extra peg is farther back and takes more weight off my arms whichs equals longer standups on the hi-way........just another way to cheat! <--just like the clip-ons, dampers, race tires, sprockets,.......you get the idea
