i love the fact that right away two people are like.. yo ive done that! lol
I ALMOST did that once a few years ago. was so anxious to get to the spot that i forgot to lock the hitch onto the ball. it didnt actually come off but could have really sucked had it

we had someone who actually had that happen in my town (i knew the lady that was hit) she was walkin and it came up from behind her and pinned her into a tree and cause internal bleeding and she died within 3 hours) and the guy went to jail for 20 years for manslaughter... but yea watch those trailers..

Yeah I used to deliver bikes for a shop I worked for and one day I had forgotten to lock the hitch and had the trailer pop off the ball on the interstate. I pulled the trailer to the shoulder on the safety chains. It was scary ****. but, hey... I'll never forget to lock a hitch again. It was a small 3 bike trailer so I picked it up and locked it back on the ball and went about my day. I never told anyone about it.
