Re: tank finally done

ya i planned on painting the whole thing... i am actually making my own cage that i plan on fabricating up soon... i had bought plastics off of ebay and i had my g/f take the stickers off and get them ready.. i have to prep the other plastics that are already on there and buy the plastic paint but other than that i just wanted to practice painting and stuff.. and i've come to the conclusion that bondo sux and clear is a *****.. i used valspar car paint that my dad painted his truck with... the tank isnt perfect but what its going to be put through.. it doesnt matter

Re: tank finally done

you can use that same paint. you just have to get an adhesion promoter to spray on it first, then primer, then paint , then clear.

you should see if valspar makes something like that...they should.

not to thread jack but check out my bike.... https://www.stuntlife.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=174759

well sorda. at the shop i work at we use glasurit paint (awesome stuff) and we don't use flex additive in the base. and the clear i used on my tail and headlight has a little flex additive in it already. i mean we use the stuff on car bumpers, me and my boys 50 plastics and all..no probs.

and i didn't make the cage...it's a SI cage
