If you want to aviod the common nut slapper then you need to have some kind of stabalizer. Throw on a pair of tighty whitey's,,, some guys even run 2 pairs to really make sure there is no nut slap..

i only read half this thread...but the boston strangler was invented by damien from DTE awhile back...it is basically a double can can with one leg crossed over the other 'strangling' the mirror.

the other one with right foot on left peg, we called a 'ralph-louie'...the left leg on the windscreen, now i dont know what anyone called that, but it is NOT a boston strangler!

anyone remember the frog, the frog extend, or the flamingo frog (aka: frogmingo)? those were DTE tricks too from a long time ago when this kid chauncey used to ride!

I've know the second one to be a Special K and the Ralph Louie to be left/right leg on opposite passanger peg with other leg sticking out (just like your avitar). Different parts of the country give tricks different names. I said it before and I'll say it again......we need to get a universal trick book for whats what and what stuff is called.

the way schwartz explained it to me was as follows

damien from DTE was the first to do the "stranger" now refered to as a special k round here and was named a strangler cuz u strangle ur nuts doing it

the rald louie u speak of was acutally a nick hill variation other wise known around here as a boston stranger

I think you guys are just confused. What are the chances that two tricks would be named the boston strangler? In Urban 1 Damien clearly spelled out his Boston Strangler. I can see two names for one trick but two tricks for one name?

on both your strangling your nuts, which is where the name came from, THe nick hill version was called a boston strangler at a comp. i am not sure which one it was. Damiens version, at least in my mind, is whats now known as a boston strangler. nicks version is what i had been calling a special k. who cares just ride.

Damien named it because of his leg position, and he wanted to name it after something famous from his area...Boston. Teach, I remember riding with you guys before Chauncy could even ride, I think he was in diapers at the time....now that's old school
