upgrade for $50, keep what i sent you. i have to get a new gsxr to build one on though cuz his frame tabs were re-welded so it sits about 1" higher on the left side. cant tell in the pics, but its way off in person.

i might do that but I need to get the piece that goes across the back, the one that the pass seat hooks into and keeps the back of the sub strong....mine's way broke.

keeping the stock tail and undertail wouldn't be possible without cutting i guess it was a typo.... make sure you keep the stock taillight is all i'm worried about.

Re: MXD 05 gsxr 600/750 round bar

i dont like the subframe mount...seems overkill and imo looks aweful.

besides that, bar looks good.

if you are smashing your bar hard enough to bend the subframe, what is going to break when the subframe doesnt??? just a thought

1. It doesnt look like a big chunk of steel hanging off the back of your bike
2. You can scrape it crooked without your bike getting tossed
3. To protect the tail
4. Tow hook for pulling other bikes out of the mud
5. It is the answer for world peace

you wont see the bar at all when the tail is on. check out the f4i. the subframe is weak on the gsxrs, not the tabs. its cast aluminum, the tabs are billet aluminum.

thats basically what we are trying to do with this bike. otherwise its going to break the second it scrapes. why do you think people go to the trouble of taking the subframe apart, sand blasting it, then welding a plate on the entire interior of the subframe, then connecting both sides with a 1" square stock in 2 diferent places. and they are paying over 200 to do it. it doesnt matter what bar you run on the new gsxrs, the subframe WILL break. this is the only way ive seen that actually works.
