Re: 12bar on a Dirtbike (PICS)
cut the two ends of the subframe off where they bend in towards each other. then bang 2 lenghts of 14mm steel rod in and weld it in place. after that run 2 more 14 mm steel rods up from the area of the smingarm attachment point up toa good spot on the subframe( again weld them in place)....otherwise that subframe is gonna snap after a few good hits and you'll be hurtin. i've seen it happen and it still looks painfull to this day when i watch the video od fiddycrazy snapping his subframe on his bike ina 3rd gear 12
other than that i'd say it looks good, i love stunting dirtbikes, they are so much more forgiving to the wallet and to leg bones

your talkin about the yellow line i drew in the 2nd pic right? i dunno about the swingarm thing there isnt any good mount spots but i'll take a look at it again tomorrow. as for the ends that curve in im gonna weld two diagonal bars right above and drill them into the existing tube that oughta do the trick no?>

yea where teh 2 diaganal lines that say reinforece here.. where tehy bend in, you can cut them and hammer 14 mm bar stock in there, adn what i mean by near teh swingarm, is basicly where the bolt runs through to mount the swinger, just weld 2 pieces from that boxed metal area up to about midway throught hte subframe.
