i'ma document the healing....
day 1 cleaned up with lots of neosporin.
day 2 before cleaned.
also, earlier i said that i got ten stitches on the outside. well, i counted them and there's only six....i guess he meant ten in all or something.

I was riding a scooter on wet grass a few years back. When I fell, the mirror broke off and I slid over it. It sliced across my knee cutting it to the bone. It looked a lot like yours except I wasn't lucky enough to get any pictures. Those deep cuts are nice because it cuts off all of the nerve endings and you cant feel it. Anyways, just when you think it is healed up dont do a lot of bending of the knee, mine ripped open again...not a good thing.

i been slackin on the pics.....plus, i'll give it a little bump for all the people who were gone to stuntwarz.

day 6.....and that was today...it's still sore, i'm walking on it fine. i can barely bend my knee half way. also, right above the "v", the skin has no feeling at all....it's crazy.
edit....and i was wrong about there being 10 stitches, there's only six on the outside....and 3 on the inside.

i hear you on them cleaning that **** out and it hurting, i had the exact same thing with mx, for some reason i think it hurt more when they numbed it up with the needle and then dug in there with there finger, it wasnt that it hurt so much, its just a different kinda pain that you dont feel ever....go back to the truck and my knee gaurds are laying in the trailer!

day 7....somehow, i busted a stitch today and didn't know it......at one point, i thought i felt one bust, but i figured i was just being paranoid. later, i looked and was like, wasn't there one right here?

It's looking pretty good! Make sure you're using plenty balm on it (neosporin) to prevent one of those scars that keeps you from moving the knee later. It may still be a little sore, so an anti inflamitory such as ibprophen (bayer) may be helpful for some of the internal swelling. Make sure you're not taking the ibphophen with anything that has tylonol (acetomenophyn) because it promotes ulsers. Every few days a little peroxide will help get rid of the dried blood without actually having to scrub it.
