Muahaha im entering my bike into an ice race here in alberta... Gunna put on a pre race stunt show as well.. The only problem i have is i cant drag my knee if you paid me 1000 bucks to do it.. Ahh well,,, ill probably smoke the snowbank commin into corner #1 anyway.. :YEAH
you deff. need footage of that..

it seems lots of screws are good for absolutley clear ice and not that many screws is better for snow packed ice.. I havent had a chance to get out on the ice yet and try it out because my bike is going in the bike show so on tuesday i am headin out to the lake to test it out and see what i have to change.

ya if you are running thru snow with screws they are gonna load up with snow and be worthless, clear ice is the best!!!!! and footage it coming you all should come to the comp on the 30th its gonna be off the hook!!!

we are going this afternoon....comp is sunday.....so we'll be out there on sat. too.

ryan is right, the more the better for the studs, last year we tried it for the first time, and while out on the ice ended up adding a lot more studs then we initially had in the tires. I guessing i have at least 1200 in the rear tire.

i went out today and it did not work worth ****.. What kind of pattern are you using,, i got sorta an evenly scattered pattern with 1000 in the rear and it doesnt work at all.. Are lines better or what, because snow packed in and i could not even hop the front wheel at all, the rear just spun. Can you post a pic of your tire pattern because i just spent 2 days screwing those in and they are useless. The ice was clear and it was like +2 celicus if that matters. Someone told me the ice acts differently at warmer and colder temps.. But still, i am sorta choked, i spend all that time screwin them in and drove an hour, to spend 10 minutes on the ice and realise its useless.
