I think that blacktop and concrete is allot more forgiveing than the ice. After this rain freezes, it will be perfect for stuntin. Then comes circle wheelies.

Re: vertical mischief ICE STUNTING PICS

Re: vertical mischief ICE STUNTING PICS
also how does the 12 bar act on ice ? can you use it for bar tricks or not? I know sometimes on the drag strips my bar steps out sideways on me and i would assume it would on ice too...

Re: vertical mischief ICE STUNTING PICS
I just re-did my tires, used about 1100-1200 studs in each tire, screwed them in while the tire was still mounted to the rim with all of its air in. Added a can of "fix a flat" to each tire.
I didn't use any green slime
No liner
and my tires do not leak air at all.
When I did them this time I experimented a little by following the original tread patter on the tire, and made sure all of the screws where turned the correct direction. I'm expecting them to hook very well.

Jesse, have you ever taken a tire of that was mounted on a bead with fix a flat in it, the **** sticks to everthing including your rim, it's harder than hell to get off too, which i'm shure won't really be a problem since you have to basicly cut it off anyway. next time i'd find a tube if they make em

I didnt take any pictures, its all explained there, only difference is the tank sits like an inch higher, just place some washers under it and longer bolts

Re: vertical mischief ICE STUNTING PICS
miltown how long of screws did you use ? I got 3/4 inch because it looked like the 1/2 inch would rip out.. I ordered 2000 screws and they will be in tommorow. I cut up a bald tire for the front and back for liners and an am ready to rip. What do you mean put them in facing the right direction, do you want the screw hitting the ice flat or on the corner of the screw ? I am thinkin of puttin 1100 in the rear and 900 in the front.. Fronts going to be in the air anyway.. And has anyone tried a tube ??

When you look at the back of the tire from behind the bike they should all look like this.

Re: vertical mischief ICE STUNTING PICS
**** i put the front so that they were angled a little forward for more braking.. But i put a liner in so that they do not poke through the liner and ill just use a tube.. The back is done now too and it seems stiff enough with a liner in it that i can run it flat and it will be the same as having 15 psi regularly.. Thanks for the help,, i cant wait to hit the ice.
