Pick it up around 12 or 13, and then gradually accellerate. Still working on getting it higher. BTW It's my 3rd day doing 1st gear standups.

im new to the sport and was wondering, is it harder to wheelie in first gear.......cuz ive noticed everyone ive ridden with does them in second. ive never tried one in second. so i was just wonderin? sorry if i sound dumb.

well, first gear has more engine brake and torque. but it's for slower speeds.


they prolly use 2nd gear for the highway, or they have a new sprocket i their bike..

and firstgear..


but personally, I love first gear even if some people think it's more twitchy. I find it fun It's all about the same when you get used to it though, it just takes some time... you'll get it :D
