Re: I Opened A Can Of Worms

Thanks Everyone! Maybe As Soon As I'm Done With My Teammates Bikes, I'll Take In Some Freelance Jobs... Lol Maybe If People Want This Kinda Paint.

Keep In Mind Their Not 100% Show Paint Jobs. [ Light Dust, Slight Orange Peel, Light Scrapes Here And There.] But Eye Catching None The Less...

Re: I Opened A Can Of Worms

Teva you should really start doing this stuff freelance, Both ppl here and on ******** have asked you to paint there bikes for them. There might be some money in this. Theres really no big deal with us that stunt if the paint is perfect or not cause we already know its goin to get damaged.

With that said, id be interested in having my plastics painted by you. Ever since i got mine all scratched up (befor i got a cage) i wanna have it repainted 1 more time so it can still have the "nice bike" look till i mess it up again haha. Then it'll get fur or flat black

But definatly liking your stuff, you have some pretty sweet designs and ideas keep up the good work

Oh yeah is your bike done yet?

Re: I Opened A Can Of Worms

Thanks Alot Novaman, Yeah I Wouldn't Mind Painting A Couple Of Bikes For Some People Out There. The Only Thing That Sucks Is Having To Ship The Plastics Back And Forth. That Can Cost Some $$.

I Wouldn't Know How Much To Charge? Being That I Know If I Charge To Much The Average Stunter Wouldn't Pay Because Chances Are It'll Get F#@ked Up Anyway...

Need Peoples Input, If People Want To Work Out The Wrinkles, I'll Most Def Make Some Pretty Stunt Pieces Lol.

Btw , Yeah My Bike Is Done... I'll Post Them In A New Thread.

Re: I Opened A Can Of Worms

sounds awesome, Price is pretty much up to you ya know. Just take what it costs in materials then add what you feel is a decent "labor" price. Thats how id figure out something like that, Ive built subwoofer enclosures for people and thats how i figure out pricing anyway heh.

Unfortunatly i dont know how much it would cost to paint a bike (from a professional shop) but i think people would have an advatage going through you even though theres shipping involved because a professional painter is goin to come with a professional price. And i really think most ppl see it as a waste to have a stunt bike professionaly painted.

I like your work though

Re: I Opened A Can Of Worms

I've Been Doing Custom Paint For About 6 Years Now. I Work At A Custom Shop Building Cars/trucks Etc. For A Living... What I Mean't About Not Knowing The Price To Charge, Is That I Want It To Be Fare Between Stunters To Bring A New Level To Our Game.

I Charge Anywhere From 1,500.00 To 3,000.00 To Paint A Custom Bike [ Show Quality ]...

These Stuntbike Paintjobs Are Just As Good As Far As Art And Ideas, Just Not As Much Prep Time And Bodytime [ Getting Out Every Scratch, Knick , Water Sanding And Polishing To A Super Shine Finish, Etc... ]

I Don't Want Ya To Think That I Just Picked Up A Hvlp And Starting Painting Yesterday, I Been At It For Awhile.

The Average Paint Cost Involved In Such Paint Jobs Are Anywhere From 250-450 That Includes Clear, Colors, Enamels, Pearls, Brushes, Hardeners, Tape, All That... Just For Front Fender, Tank, Tail , And Hugger.

What Cha Think Would Be Fair? 500-800???

Re: I Opened A Can Of Worms

id say 500-800 is pretty fair pricing.

Would i expect somewhere around 900 if i need my upper cowl and also side farings painted.

Im not a fan of the street fighter look
