Re: Bicycle stunna

can almost do circles! I did almost a complete circle like that yesterday.

gears lock every now and then, and when they lock up, I face plant hard. I took it about 4 miles the other way like that, and only wrecked 3 times because of the gears.

Re: Bicycle stunna

What gear do you use while you do this?

I use 9th.. Is that to high? It sucks to loop at 9th gear.

Re: Bicycle stunna

actually, the way i do is put it in the gears that make it easy as hell to pedle,if your at the balance point you wont be pedling that fast..i dont even use the rear brake i can just pedle and coast when i feel it going too far over..try using those gears and tug a little bit and pedle fast for it to come up...thats just how i do it..i know if i spend hours on my mtn bike it takes me a while to get used to my ZX7R haha..........................heres an old pic of me learning bicycle wheelies..heh

Riding a slow wheelie on a mtn bike takes way more skill than on a sportbike.
Put it in the lowest gear and be ready to learn patience. Since it obviously has no engine brake, you have to constantly use the brake. Also because of the narrow tire and slow speed, you have to be very good with side to side balance as well.

Re: Bicycle stunna

Oh, snigg; one more thing. DON'T practice wheelies on a mountian bike while you are working on learning rear brake control on the big bike. You will probably panic and forget where the brake is.

Re: Bicycle stunna

Re: Bicycle stunna

i lock my arms completely after i yank to pull the bars up,it allows me to sit back further in the seat making the balance point lower...thus making it easier to ride longer wheelies and not looping as much..

First, high gears are your friend, if you've got the brakes. using a high gear requires you too keep pulling the bars toward your chest HARD, as you pedal your *** off. then once you get it up (it normally starts slow, then shoots up) you have to either stop pedaling, or use the rear brake. Once you get it to BP (you'll fell it) you must pedal a constant rate, and when it fells like teh bike is to high, push a bars a lil, when it's to low, pull it HARD.

also, you must yank like a son'ofa'bitch, and then pull the bars toward you body.
at no point should your arms be completely extended. Even if your leaning WAY back, keep your arms bent slightly. this will force you to pull on the bars, and thus put more weight on them than your seat.

slow wheelies are unstable, hard, and most of all, FUN! I'm still workin on mine...but they sure are fun!

You're retarded
