MSF course
Just read on another thread some of you are trying to get into an MSF course.
See http://www.schoolcraft.cc.mi.us/pdfs...motorcycle.pdf for Schoolcraft's schedule.
When I took the Performance Based course last year, they said to just show up if the course is full (all classes) and they would probably be able to get you in due to cancellations. Obviously you may not get in, but it never hurts to try if you have the time. I think the instructor said that there are typically 5 to 10 cancellations / no-shows.

Schoolcraft is sold out
monroe is sold out
macomb is sold out
oakland is sold out
errrrrrrbody sold out
Appreciate ya looking out though. But as it stands, [EDIT!!!] is the ONLY one left we got a shot at for a BRC. And that's if I stand in front of their door 2 hours before they open, which I'm gonna have to do. I could take the PBC, been riding for going on 3 years now. But since Doris + fiddy = car, she might wannna take the full course
And the average waitlist right now is around 40 people.

According to the Secretary of State, you only need to take a sponsored class if you've failed the rider's test 2 times, or if you are under 18.
Schoolcraft still has openings for the mid-summer classes, or show up before hand. From what the instructor told my class last year, there were openings in EVERY class that he had taught so far!
Take the PBC if you've been riding for a few years. You'll be bored to tears in the BRC. I'll be taking the ERC this spring if I can get in due to cancellations.
