Kinda late to add my two cents, but if its a pickup truck you can leave a mini butane torch in the box. Whenever you cant get your key to turn the lock you can just give it a little heat. When I say little I mean little you dont want to harm paint or plastic. Another option is heating the key with a lighter and sticking it in, normally frees it up fast.

Re: Humor for you guys
K I am going to share a little humor with you guys at my expense. I was out running errands yesterday and saw alot of people washing their cars. Hmmm that sounded like a good idea, so I went and washed my truck. (it looks good btw) I go to work last night. I am getting off around midnight and I got out to my car and my doors are frozen shut! My lock on my drivers side I cant unlock at all. I got my passenger unlock and with force from one of the guys in the back we FINALLY got my door open last night..... I didnt wipe down my doors or anything. That thought actually never crossed my mind. It gave everyone at work last night a good laugh at the Texas girl so I thought I'd share .... I keep forgetting **** freezes up here!
