Tha Alabama Bullshit Thread
Re: Tha Alabama Bullshit Thread
compton i put one of those rotors on my bike and i have some vibration in my front end. i think the one that i put on is a little bent. i am gonna put the other one on and see how it feels.
Re: Tha Alabama Bullshit Thread
damn seriously? I bought them from T-Neck. I never even took them out of the box. Just taped it back up and shipped it out. Let me know if the other one is the same way.
Re: Tha Alabama Bullshit Thread
i don't know for sure....if they were bent a little i would still think it would spread the pads, but its not doing that, but i do have a vibration and it gets worse with speed. i will put the other one on and see what it does. if it does the same thing then i guess i bent something else when my bike went into the bleachers

Raise the front wheel off the ground. Take a long flat head screwdriver, braise it against one of your fork legs, and put the flat tip up really close to the lip of the rim. Spin the wheel and see if the rim stays the same distance from the blade. If it moves in and out then the rim or axle is bent.
If the distance stays the same and rime and axle are fine, proceed to check the rotors by the same method.

Re: Tha Alabama Bullshit Thread
it is pretty smooth i guess. i know that i was rolling a lot of endos and the faster i seemed to go the more it would do it. thats why i think it may be the rotor. and it was only when i was on the brakes
