Yeah, I looked on Kawasaki's parts website and there is a 1.4 and 2.0 listed for the steels. If you think about it the overall would still be the same if the thicker went in first or last. I am gonna wait on the springs comin in tomorrow or Thursday and measure everything up when we take it back apart. If it makes ya feel better Beau I had to ride Mandum through the gap with my brother to pick up a buddy who had wrecked first time in.

measure the stack height of your clutches with a micrometer.stack the fibers and steels like they would go in your bike and measure the height of them. Go ahead and order the different size steels just in case. The stack height should be between 37.7-38.3mm (1.48-1.51in.) But never use the 1.4mm and 2.0mm together at the same time.

Tore my 636 motor down last night.. took a while to figure it out, but found a chunk of steel, about the size and shape of a keyway on top of cyl number 3 piston.. not sure how it got there but head and piston seem ok, prolly happened right as he went to restart it. I'm going to pull the sirbox and throttle bodys off of my bike to make sure there is no damaged parts before the atl ride, suince they came off this motor! On a good not though I will have a spare engine with 13,000 miles for the cost of a gasket set.. Good thing cause my chain sounds bead and my manual CCT still hasn't showed up!

Just curious did you ever have the airbox off of the 636.. is there anyway you might have dropped something in it? Stumping me on where this metal piece came from.. But not a biggie I have an extra set of TB's if it came from them..

Re: Tha Alabama Bullshit Thread
ehh, I dont know, the chain snapped on me. I thought maybe it was the masterlink, but its still in tact, one of the other links snapped. Then proceeded to wrap around in the front sprocket, and cracked the whole block down there. Leaks oil now . I dont know exactly how it happened, my cousin was riding it when it happened, he had 4k cash and was ready to buy it but then he took it for a test drive and that happened
No, I never had the airbox off, I dont think I ever even took the tank off. That must have gotten in there before I bought it
