Well, I'm sure he had said something retarded and it was entirely called for.
Maybe it was over which gas station he wanted to sit around in next...
Has anybody actually seen Bob lately? I'm sure he probably lurks here...

Ok the point is that pounder never said the 1000rr line up doesn't have an orange bike. Simply saying the 06 line up doesn't have an orange bike. Just because he said repsol in the sentence do i have to imply he is talking about just the 1000rr since this whole thread has been about us giving him grief on the WHOLE Honda line up.
Geez I expect a lot better from you Taz.

VFR1200 revealed
Honda is to launch a 1200cc V5-engined replacement for the Blackbird. It will be packed full of anti-crash electronics and be capable of cracking 200mph.
Factory insiders say it will be on sale in 2006 and be blessed with the most powerful engine a road bike has ever used - making around 190bhp.
The bike - named the VFR1200 - will feature traction control and the latest development of Honda's combined braking alongside ABS.

I haven't been keeping up on this due to the fact that I sucked at getting out to ride this year. Did they come out and say "just kidding" or something?

I guess that stuff w/ the french gov. also resulted in the manufacturers volunteering to limit the top speed of their bikes and thats why (top speed) is limited on our liter bikes as well-186mph I think?

Re: Still lots of rumors, but SOMETHING is coming...
The "voluntary" speed limit has already been in place for years now - nothing new.
I can't say that my interest is really in the top speed anymore anyway. My Blackbird will still pass most of the stuff out there and its still 100% stock. My interest is more in a comfy bike with good passenger space that still has the power to perform well. I have the Buell if I want to go **** around on by myself.
