I see where it says in the 1000 line up O wait it doesn't. It says 06 line and guess what there are 600s in the 06 line up. The repsol isn't in the 06 line up either yet the Blue colored 1000rr is stupid ugly. And I know you like to debate I figured that out the first time I met you.

I acknowledged what I wrote near the end of my last post. We're talking about 1000's.

Did we have a debate when we met?

Well, I'm sure he had said something retarded and it was entirely called for.

Maybe it was over which gas station he wanted to sit around in next...

Has anybody actually seen Bob lately? I'm sure he probably lurks here...

Re: Still lots of rumors, but SOMETHING is coming...

Ok the point is that pounder never said the 1000rr line up doesn't have an orange bike. Simply saying the 06 line up doesn't have an orange bike. Just because he said repsol in the sentence do i have to imply he is talking about just the 1000rr since this whole thread has been about us giving him grief on the WHOLE Honda line up.

Geez I expect a lot better from you Taz.

VFR1200 revealed
Honda is to launch a 1200cc V5-engined replacement for the Blackbird. It will be packed full of anti-crash electronics and be capable of cracking 200mph.
Factory insiders say it will be on sale in 2006 and be blessed with the most powerful engine a road bike has ever used - making around 190bhp.
The bike - named the VFR1200 - will feature traction control and the latest development of Honda's combined braking alongside ABS.
Read the full story and see more pictures in the August 18 issue of MCN.
I guess it was all lies...

I haven't been keeping up on this due to the fact that I sucked at getting out to ride this year. Did they come out and say "just kidding" or something?

cycle world did a bit on it like 3 months ago...so there must be sumthin to it but pics werwe actually drawings(Ithink) but cycle world seems to think theres a very good chance of a new blackbird commin out 1-2 years they been awile since I read but I think they said 1350cc or sumthin like that.honda ducked out of the top speed contest (busa zx12) when the zx12 came out in france touted to be faster than busa(top speed) and the gov.threatend to ban those bikes from cummin into there country(honda feared negative publicity those bike were getting-but its been long enough now and they are getting back in the game-some think the arival of zx14 helped spur this on-been awhile since I read the article but it was sumthin to that effect anyway...

Re: Still lots of rumors, but SOMETHING is coming...

I guess that stuff w/ the french gov. also resulted in the manufacturers volunteering to limit the top speed of their bikes and thats why (top speed) is limited on our liter bikes as well-186mph I think?

Re: Still lots of rumors, but SOMETHING is coming...

The "voluntary" speed limit has already been in place for years now - nothing new.

I can't say that my interest is really in the top speed anymore anyway. My Blackbird will still pass most of the stuff out there and its still 100% stock. My interest is more in a comfy bike with good passenger space that still has the power to perform well. I have the Buell if I want to go **** around on by myself.

Re: Still lots of rumors, but SOMETHING is coming...

yes it has been a few years since the zx12 was introduced-it would have been about that time.there isnt much of a top speed race now just who can get there fastest.
