RIP Indian Larry

I know alot of you hate choppers, but for the fans of Indian Larry I just saw that he passed away today. I always thought he was a really cool guy and built some nice choppers. I guess at the show he tried to stand up on his bike and fell off and hit his head on the ground.

RIP.

Re: RIP Indian Larry

I was introduced to motorcycles as a child when my father littered our home with parts from his cusom choppers. Indian Larry will be missed.

Re: RIP Indian Larry

Yeah, he will be missed. I don't care what kind of bike he rode, he was just a cool motorcycle guy. He would do anything to help you out, regardless of wether you rode a chopper, sportbike, or even a friggin' moped. He was the kind of rider that I admire, no descrimination amongst different kinds of styles of bikes or their riders. He fell off his bike while standing on the seat surfing it down the rode, he wasn't wearing a helmet and he hit his head. t.o.d 3:40am Aug. 30

It's a scripture out of the Bible. I'll try and see if I can find which verse it is.

Re: RIP Indian Larry

Was talking to a guy today that was friends with Indian Larry

Him and his wife are friends of the family and said that they were at the show. He said for the more serious stunts he would fully suit up into a Nomax suit and Insane full face helmet. He took the helmet off because he almost passed out becaus eit was so hot. SO he went to do the glam shot and fell. The impact was from about 18 miles an hour so it was not like he was out of control. The nero surgeons said that the impact was equal to falling off your kitchen stool.
He was selling some shirts that were memorial shirts but they were 30 bucks. The reason is that part of the proceeds go to pay off the shops bills and the guys back pay. They are going to keep the shop open and finish the 4 larry bikes on the Lifts in the shop. There also some 15 to 20 drawings for mre bikes that were planned.

Larry was creamated shortly there after and he now rest in the jug of a v twin engine embossed with his logo ? and chromed. it even has a little header on it.

Rest in Peace Larry

So he was safe for the most part
