Not really man. Take a 370 lb bike going 45-50, it would easily do that. If she pulled out and gave him no time to hit the brakes, no problem. In fact, the bike is in good condition considering, it still has forks, so it couldn't have been going to damn fast. I've seen a car look worse after getting hit by a bike going about 40.

RIP and best wishes to the family. Yeah I don't think that he was going that fast. Why is it that this happens so much with the elderly? They should have to retest for their dl when they get old.

I swear on my life before God, I would have knocked this old bitch right the **** out. I'd throw a ****ing haymaker into her face, and then tell my arresting officer, "I'm tired of old ****s that shouldn't be on the road period killing my brothers and sisters and getting away with it, unpunished."

THe way I see it is, if you have to be sixteen (eighteen in some states) to get a drivers license on the basis that you are too young to make sound decisions.....than I believe a sixty you should have to give your license back and be banned from driving on the basis you are too old to makie sound decisions.

Too old to make quick decisions! My step dad is about to break 60 and he is slow as fukk! I am scared to ride with him and my mom isn't any better. I hope somebody knocks my *** out when I'm that slow. Can't stand it!

in New Hampshire they make the elderly redo their road test every so often. i phucking hate hearing about kids getting biffed by old ragtime drivers who can't even see over the dashboard. However, my grandparents who are both 78 still ride their brand new goldwing like they did when they got married, so it's not all people.
RIP to the kid and bless his parents. I hope that elderly person gets pulled off the road.
NorCal, I hope that bitch that told your friend that bullshit explaination dies a very fiery and painful slow death.
OK, im done venting.

Shitty situation, look at the pictures of the type of area the accident happened in. If he was going much over the speed limit you can see how that might happen, probably didn't have much riding experience to avoid the accident. RIP man. Look out for incapable old drivers.

Well, next time he's born and grows up, if he gets a bike, perhaps he might think to himself, "Race bike, not race track. Race bike, not race track." as he's going down the road.

Couldnt agree more, I surprised myself the other night. I hopped on a friends bike and rode it down the street. In the course of about 4 driveways I was already going like sixty five no problems. I was like, wow, if one of these morons backs out, I'm in tomorrows paper, and tonights news. That brought the bike down to about twenty five in a hurry.
