first bike R6??
i started out on dirt now im goin to street i have a yz125 now and im sellin it to get a rocket, lookin at gettin an R6 good idea bad idea?? what would be the best idea gsxr600 cbr600 R6 zx6r??

well i think the 636 and r6 are tied for top speed i beleive at bout 155 or 60 that i heard of but if ya gonna stunt, dont get r6 "fragile bike" i would go for the gix or the honda "for stuntin" and the kaw or the yam for "race" just my

My frst bike was a CBR 600 which wasnt bad. My 2nd was a Gixxer 750 and I hated the fact that you could never really get comfortable on it. I sold that and went down to an R6 and I love it!. Stuntin, definatly the Gixxer, speed and comfort, R6.. Just an FYI, my buddy has an CBRF4I and with it geared, he still cant pass me on my stock.

My first sportbike was an 03 r6. easy to wheelie and stoppie. I love it. It's also great for riding corners. If i were to get another bike and had unlimited funds, i would still get an r6.

Honestly if you are going to a street from dirt, your first bike NEEDS to be something you are not going to get too attached to. Reason I say that is because we all do stupid stuff and why buy a new bike just to see it get laid down? Go with an older bike THEN upgrade! :YEAH
if your looking for a stunt bike get what you can for the best price

my first well i kinda took my friends F4i over, it was pretty steady but i am still a very inexperinced rider so thats just my take. i like the Yamahas the best but thats just lil ol me!

as my recent departure from an r6 i would say honda or kaw, the yamaha street tranny's suck ***, when they get hot they shift really hard especially between 1st and 2nd, I personally ride kaw, 02 zx6r soon to go to the 04 636 but ride what ya like and what ur comfortable on, dont' buy one because someone said to, and like homeboy said if its ur first, BOTTOM LINE ur gonna drop it so forget spending like 8k buy used first my man :YEAH

hey i just made teh same transition as your from dirt to street and i bought an 04 gixxer 6 and in all honesty i love the bike, its fast,it handles, its not as comfortable as a gold wing but none are. i recomend getting a gixxer but its your call you can get a used biek but when you get it yoru just gonna want a new one so get used to that.
