Re: Insurance

Wrong forum........... but it's because you aren't 25.......You're now on high risk since you wrecked. Might check out other rates, but sounds like you're getting stiffed here. Welcome to the site though, and don't forget to check out the indiana forums

Re: Insurance

It's good to see i'm not the only one that had a crazy jump for insurance... I have no motorcycle wrecks just one car wreck from almost 4 years ago, and on my 03 gsxr 600 progressive wanted 5600 a year for full coverage, state farm wanted 4800 but i would have to switch my car over as well and they were gonna rape me on that too, and Foremost wanted something like 6300..... I was like uhhhh ok... i owe like 7 grand on my bike... why would i wanna spend almost that same amount for a year to insure the damn thing?? Kinda stupid, but i put liability on it for 365 a year and i'm tryin to pay my bike off before the bank finds out i dont have full coverage... It seems kinda wierd cuz i had insurance on it last summer and it was only like 900 a year for full coverage with the same record and i had just turned 19...

Re: Insurance

you should definately check out state farm and nationwide(if you have them) I'm with nationwide and i pay 680 a year for full coverage with 250 deductibles for comp and coll. I'm 21 with a respectable driving record, plus they go by cc's and i'm on a 1000

I just got a bike and all my friends told me to go thru State Farm, but they keep jockeying up the prices. My premium started at 167 a month on a 2004 Gsxr 600, i just had it adjusted down to 130 but i am 21 and have a spotless record. My friend is younger, has the same company, has a 03 gsxr 1000 and his is 60 bucks cheaper. Insurance blows!

Thumbs up Re: Insurance

I only pay 350 a year with $500 deduct. State Farm is the way to go. My driving record isn't the best, but it helps to be over 21. I ride a 900rr so a 600 is a little cheaper.

I just quoted a 01 gixxer 750 and a 01 929, statefarm wants 900 a year for the gixxer and 1000 a year for 929. My record is clean as well, and i'm 22, be 23 in a few months! I already pay 2000 a year on my 2000 grand prix, insurance blows. (I somehow always feel like i'm getting stiffed )
